De ce imi place Lipstick Jungle?
De cand cu Sex and The City tot caut un subtituitor … probabil unde in acest an am simtit acut lipsa prietenelor mele, a unei conversatii pur feminine si, de ce nu, feministe - adica cu declaratii gen: Toti barbatii sunt porci! si WOW! Trebuie sa am pantofii tai!
Am dat de Cashmere Mafia, am urmarit sezonul 1 si mi-a placut extraordinar de mult - avea si subiect placut, actori buni ( Lucy Liu ), haine superbe si styling extraordinar marca Patricia Field. L-au oprit din motive neintemeiate, dupa parerea mea.
Am mai avut cateva tentative cu The Hills, Gossip Girl, insa nu m-au satisfacut in sensul ca au reusit sa umple golul lasat de Sex and The City si Cashmere Mafia … Pana ce am reusit sa vad Lipstick Jungle, ecranizare dupa un roman de Candace Bushnell, autoarea SATC.
Brooke Shields sta cap de afis, urmata de simpatica Lindsay Price si Kim Raver. Subiect bun - 3 femei de succes din New York, prinse in intrigi, contexte de viata reale in care ne putem regasi.
Plus moda - imi place extraordinar de mult stilul Victoriei Ford, designer - rol jucat de Lindsay Price! Hainele sunt geniale, mergandu-se pe un stil office extrem de chic si deloc scortos pentru Wendy si Nico. A trebuit sa fac o documentare serioasa sa vad daca nu cumva Patricia Field a stilizat si acest serial … raspunsul este NU, insa nu am aflat cine 
In goana mea dupa poze pentru acest articol, am gasit cateva FACTS despre New York si locuitorii din Big Apple

FACT: Work is a soul-crushing exercise in humility and 99% of the reason New Yorkers are stressed out, pallid, over-caffeinated alcoholic depressives. And three-quarters of your salary goes to price-gauging rent for your 8×10 studio apartment next to the projects.
MYTH: Successful, stylish women with high-powered jobs frequent dive bars to unwind after work.
FACT: Successful, stylish women with high-powered jobs either have standing reservations at the Waverly Inn or a Percoset supplier on speed dial who makes house calls.
MYTH: The men are romantic.
FACT: The ratio of single men to single women in this city guarantees that guys who’re short, fat, bald, poor, have halitosis and think a fancy night out at “this great little Italian restaurant” is a trip to Olive Garden are pulling model-caliber chicks. A decent looking guy with money doesn’t need to wine and dine a lady to get laid. That’s strictly the stuff of J. Lo movies.

Am vazut primul sezon intr-o singura zi. Nu e mai bun decat CM dar merge:D Cred ca sezonul 2 va fi chiar mai interesant.:)

Leah, sincer nu am vazut. Si pe net, din sezonul 2 este numai primul episod. Cred ca e prea curand pt. DVD.
